This computer wallpaper shows the coming storms created through the eruption of the Chile's Puyehue volcano. On June 4, 2011, the volcanoes' eruption caused the evacuation of at least 3,500 people. The ensuing ash cloud travelled much of the Southern hemisphere, causing airlines to cancel hundreds of flights. It is estimated that the power of the eruption is equivalent to 70 atomic bombs, based on the amount of ash, sand and pumice that was ejected. |
