The image, that this Elk wallpaper is based on, was taken in the summer of 2010 within the Banff National Park boundaries (on the way to Johnston Canyon). Several elk were feeding on the side of the road both on the way down and more on the way back (8 hours later). Banff National Park is located in Alberta, Canada. Elk is one of the largest species of deer in the world. |
